I repaired it and posted on the Abingdon facebook page as well as leaving it locked up outside our house in full view for the last couple of months. Nobody's claimed it. It's not in great condition, but works, and I would rather someone made use of it rather than it going in the tip.

Hi, I am looking for a full size 4 drawer filing cabinet (either solid wood or wood effect, as it's likely to need to live in my living room) if anybody has one lurking in a shed or garage somewhere that they want to re-home. I will need to arrange for someone within my family to at least help me with collection, due to health problems, so it may take me a bit longer than usual to arrange this, but I am keen to sort out and tidy up my paperwork asap!
