There is something wrong. The computer wouldn't read any hard drives. I got it to boot to safe mode once. The mainboard may be dodgy but the chip should be good. I have just removed it from the case. Specs: IPM17-TP is the model name for the "Thimphu" motherboard used in some HP OMEN and HP Envy gaming desktops, featuring an Intel Z170 chipset, LGA 1151 socket for 6th/7th Gen Intel CPUs, DDR4 RAM support (up to 64GB), M.2 slot, and ports for gaming features, often identified by HP part numbers like 799926-001.

Both are well used but still functional. Few scuffs, a child’s name in and draw cord for side pocket lost its elastic but plenty of wear left in both. It was perfect for our daughter at nursery and would love another child to make use of it.
