I've never tried to use them, but it looks like the vertical height, once installed would be between roughly 9". Lightweight, plastic, hollow forms. Decorative only; not weight-bearing. Note: there are 2 short pegs that go with each section for poking into the ground to install the edging.

This was my Momma's. She would have used it in the late 1950s. I can't find the exact one online to tell you exactly what it is. As you can see, it's two sided, and there is a big chunk broken out of the corner. I'm all the way out in Deer Trail (about 50 mins from the center of Denver east on I70), but I do come in to Aurora (i225 corridor) and the north DTC area, or Green Valley Ranch about twice a month, and can meet. I have quite a few things I'm going to be giving away, so if there is something specific you are after, check with me if I have something for you.
