Request: Children's books (Harrogate HG1) The recent flurry of bank holidays and school holidays has severely depleted the stock of children's books in the Brimham Rocks second-hand bookshop. We would greatly appreciate donations of books for sale in the shop: any age range from pre-school to older teens would be great. We can collect locally, or donated books may be left with our car park team. Thank you!

Request: 📍Car (Clifton Without YO30) I know this might be a long shot, but I’m a learner driver who’s already passed my theory (which expires in a few months). I’ve had multiple instructors, spent everything I could on lessons over the years, and even tried an intensive course — which turned out to be anything but. One instructor dropped me right before my test, and I ended up hiring a car just to try and make it work and failed. I’m not looking for advice on instructors, lessons, or courses — I’ve genuinely tried everything and I’m burnt out, financially and mentally. I just need a different route now. What I really need is a car so I can practise in my own time (with proper learner insurance and a supervisor) and finally move forward. I’m doing this alone with no family or financial support, and I’m trying to rebuild my life step by step. If anyone has a car, even something old but roadworthy, I’d be so grateful. Any help is massively appreciated.
