Hi, I'm looking for a servicable cordless hedge trimmer and/or strimmer to tidy up the alleyway by where I live. ( It has to be cordless/petrol as the hedges/bushes/trees are over 150 yards from any power source.) I'm pretty mechanically minded, so even if it doesn't work I should be able to repair it! Model MC E450. All would be working well - motor, switch, rotor, filters, belts etc BUT theres a strip of plastic broken off underneath which makes it no longer very good at hoovering. Would be a simple fix if you could find/make a replacement strip - otherwise a useful source of spare parts.
