I would like to make a bog filter for my pond so need some pebbles/cobbles for it. I need 3-4” for the bottom layer, gradually getting smaller as they get towards the top. Basically any non porous stone eg granite, pebbles, flint, chunks of slate (not chippings) etc Limestones are no good as they’ll alter the pH of the water. Thank you

In tidying up we discovered a bag of slides - see photo! For younger people it was a way to take photos which you could then show using a projector on to a large screen so we could all bore everyone else as a group with our holiday snaps! Way before all the current social media stuff! Anyway we don't have a projector any more to do this and we would love to look at our slides again.
