According to this Etsy post, one that looks identical is from from the 1940s: This one looks to be in good mechanical shape overall EXCEPT that its return spring is disconnected so it doesn't advance and so is NOT useable in this condition. See the third photo where I'm holding the loose end of the spring cable. If you're looking for a mechanical challenge, then this is for you. If you're looking for a beautiful office centrepiece, then this is for you.

One blade is broken/chipped (as shown), but the motor is working properly. Might be of interest to someone who can either fix the blade (e.g., using a 3D printer) or take it apart and use the motor for something else. I would like to save it from the landfill. If you want to use the fan, the blade needs to be replaced, because otherwise the fan shakes when turned on.
