Good quality armchair (cost over £500 three years ago) with high seat making it suitable for elderly users. It has all the fire labels etc but either needs a very good clean or at the worst, recovering. Sorry cannot deliver.

Hello, we are Somebody Cares Scotland. We have a free furniture collection which covers Aberdeen City and parts of Aberdeenshire. We can uplift pre-loved sofas and armchairs for free. We do ask that they are from smoke free homes and still have the relevant fire labels attached. The uplifted items may be sold in our retail store at Bridge of Don to fund our other services such as our Food Bank. They can also be re-homed to our clients to furnish their new accommodation. Our aim is to find the items a new local home and save them from landfill. Please do get in touch! Worn Blue Desk Chair on Wheels (Needs Cover / Workshop Use) (Letham DD8)
A second-hand blue office chair with wheels. Already worn when I got it, then further use and I have a cat. It's actually quite comfortable. Good if you don't mind the cosmetic damage or it would be ideal for a simple reupholstery project. The mechanism all work fine, the wheels are a bit stiff on thick carpet. Happy to include the little cushion.

Upcycled Fold-Down Desk / Storage Shelf Unit (Letham DD8)
Basic upcycle project. It’s a simple low shelving unit modified with a wooden top panel attached on hinges to create a fold-down. When the panel is up technically it stands on its own but as it can be risky I put a screw eye hook to tie it to something but never had to use it, I just put those two bookends that I can include. Basic DIY job, but functional if you need a compact workspace.

IKEA Lycksele Double Sofa Bed Frame & Mattress (Letham DD8)
I got it second-hand a few years ago. The metal fold-out frame works well. The feet are a bit worn out. The mattress was stained/discoloured already on one side when I got it, but it is dry and clean - just cosmetic water/age marking. It's not in perfect conditions as you can see but it served me well and I think it has many more years still as a basic/emergency sofa that turns into a huge single bed or small double bed. I honestly think it's a bit of a waste to just throw it away but I'm moving and I can't take it with me. You can throw a blanket on it as I've been doing or buy the official slipcover at Ikea
