Old Chests/Steamer Trunk (Port Jervis, NY)
The Steamer Trunk I believe was used by my grandmother when she came over from Sweden in 1920. It was probably already old at that time. As you can see by the images, it’s not in great shape. The other one is smaller, but in much better shape. Closes up very tightly and nicely. Still smells like mothballs when you open it, so it must be practically airtight.
