Knitting Sticks & leftover yarns (Coquitlam Maillardville)
Hello, last year, I had used Trash Nothing for the FIRST TIME IN OVER A YEAR since downloading it, when a family member recommended that I take up a hobby, and when she recommended KNITTING OUT OF ALL HOBBIES (BTW, I am a young MAN :|), I was EXTREMELY HESITANT to buy a new set of knitting needles and some yarn. I thought that I would finally try out the app, and within days, a nice lady contacted me, and even travelled out to a close skytrain station (CLOSE TO ME), Lougheed Town Station, when she told me that she lived in SURREY!? (SUCH NICE LADY) Sorry for the LONG WINDED LIFE STORY, anyways, Here again, inquiring for any leftover yarn from a previous project, and, if you no longer require them, your knitting needles that you no longer wish to keep anymore As, if I get good enough, I was thinking about starting a knitting group at the hospital where I received my cancer treatments, maybe create some mittens and wool hats for the other children receiving chemo / radiation therapies (I was still a minor when my diagnosis/treatment occurred, and was at the BC Children’s Hospital Thank you all for taking the time to read my LONG WINDED post, John :)

Board games of ANY KIND (Coquitlam Maillardville)
Hello, I am a young adult living with disabilities, attained in his late teens - early twenties, thus did not get a real chance to develop any of my executive functioning skills I was recently assigned a community support worker, who will be helping me with many things, amongst one of them, try to fine tune my executive functioning skills, A LITTLE LATE, We were searching online, what I could do to improve my executive functioning skills and found that playing board games (chess, settlers of catan were the two specific games mentioned on a University of Illinois page about developing executive functioning skills in adults page). I, even tried to quickly draw a chess board, and sixteen pieces to play a couple of rounds of chess with my community support worker, but had trouble in the middle, getting confused who’s paper drawn piece was who’s :( If anyone has a chess set, or any other board games that they no longer play on, I would graciously travel to the end of the earth (or a transit bus/sky train station near by your location :) ) to receive your gift Thank you very much for reading my post, And I hope that you ALL have (or had, since I am posting this at 5pm :S) a GREAT DAY :D John
