Sony Mini HiFi Component System MHC-881 Needs Minor Repairs (Bournemouth BH1)
This nice hifi has not seen a great deal of use, but it has a couple of fixable faults. Cassette players are not fully working - this is almost certainly as result of the drive belts going. These should be available online. The CD changer is misbehaving and probably need some kind of adjustment. The amplifier and tuner are working fine, as is the remote control. One of the cassette decks was able to play a tape, but I wouldn't trust it with the old drive belts. Speakers are not included.

aiwa Hi Fi System 1Bit duel D/A converter/Disc Direct play/ Rotary Changer system. CD3 I have tested it. The radio works fine. The cd works fine. The cassette player coukd do with a clean as I tried 3 different cassettes. Avd the sound quality was not good. The turn table works but does not switch off unless by the mains. The belt needs replacing as the existing belt seems to be stretched and keeps falling off.

Mains operated radio. (NOT DIGITAL). Has FM and AM wavebands plus sockets for USB or SD card inputs. Looks good and works well. ( I have never used the SD card input but have no reason to think it doesn't work. Also pic 2 shows a repair I have made to the aerial. Electrical contact is good but telescopic feature no longer available. Approximate size: 9"(22cm W) X 5" (13cm D) X 13.5" (13.5cm H)
