Solid wood two-piece vintage hutch made in Templeton MA circa 1960s. Consists of a top credenza with glass-paned cabinet doors, and a lower "china deck" with notches in rear to showcase treasured plates, saucers, and platters. The lower section of the "deck" has doors which conceal a two-tiered shielf area perfect for larger pieces of tableware, table linens, or whatever you want to store. It was impressive in its day, but at the hands of a committed and skilled restorer, it could be once again impressive; this sideboard measures 65 inches by 22 inches deep by 41 inches high, but has suffered the ravages of time and humidity, which has resulted in the veneer inexorably peeling away. Beyond its exterior experience, however, are that it has "good bones", which makes it worthwhile to someone with the skills and motivation to bring it back to life. Besides the obvious cabinets, the sideboard features a massively wide and deep top drawer. You will need a truck or van to get this to where it needs to go, but it does rest on wheels which makes it easy to move wherever it ends up residing. Come take a look.
