They're well worn but still usable. The covers are translucent. They will hold 3-hole punched 8.5 x 11 sheets of paper. The clips are the smaller size, so these are not full size binders.

This is kind of like a pill taker box, except that it only has 3 sections, and the inside of the sections has dividers/walls in it. The lid sections snap closed. It has some tiny holes in it, so it is breathable but not air tight or water tight.
