I really don't know what this was used for. It is a sturdy metal box with a hinged lid, 14x16 inches and 30 inches tall. The main compartment is very deep and has rails which might fit hanging file folders (I didn't try). There is also a bottom compartment which is open to the front.

Hi all, I'm looking for storage containers that I can put various nuts, bolts, screws, washers, and so on into. My spring cleaning phase has reached the basement, and it's finally time to tidy up the loose bits of hardware that are just sitting unsorted in a couple of cardboard boxes.
