This specific scratching post (Kempston MK42)

This was the Thompson Tall Post from Pets at home. They've changed the sisal rope on the new versions and my cat won't touch it (nor any others I've tried!). I've asked and looked everywhere. Those for sale are miles away. Can anyone help, please 🙏
