Available for collection at the following dates and times only:
7 pm Monday 24 April

If interested, please take a moment to explain why you would like to be the new owner of this TV. If your reply doesn't include this information, or when you could collect the items, I will delete your message (for an explanation of why I take this approach see below).

I will mark the item as 'promised' when I have identified someone to collect.

Fully functional. Very good cosmetic condition. The screen has one scratch that is just visible when in use as a computer monitor (and other minor scratches). Note also that there is uneven backlight illumination, with the right hand third of the screen being somewhat beighter than elsewhere (more noticeable with dark images). However, in normal use these imperfections are barely noticeable. See photos (CD included for scale only).

Includes an adjustable stand (fore and aft tilt only), power cable and remote control.

*DOES NOT* include a cable for connecting a computer (cheaply available from e.g., eBay).

It has the following inputs: 1 HDMI port, 1 SCART, component video, plus DVI-D and 9-pin VGA D-SUB for connecting a computer. Also includes audio in (for a PC soundcard), digital optical output and a headphone socket.

Maximum 1920 x 1080 resolution, plus support for lower resolutions.

At 5.8 kg (inc. stand) this could be carried on public transport.

Why might I ask people why they want a free TV? Though rescued from the trash, I have spent some time (and a little money) refurbishing the TV (cleaning, testing, and in this case buying a power supply, power cable and remote control). The TV therefore has some cash value, and I don't want traders to profit from my efforts.

And I do all of this in my free time, so I think it's reasonable to ask respondents to indicate up-front when they can collect (which otherwise generates a lot of time consuming correspondence).

Thanks for your understanding.
