Ok. This is a handmade cork wreath. It is over 20 years old. The corks are toothpicked in. This is what to expect : the corks will fall off it touched / moved a lot. You will have to re-stab it. If you hang this and don’t touch it for another 20-30 years, then it will stay golden. Otherwise, the corks will fall off and undoubtedly stress you out.
We have a smaller version of this that has been hanging for about 20 years in the kitchen. If I thoroughly clean it, I am sure I may destroy it, so I won’t list it.
As pictured, you see the extra corks to the right. To the left, you will see a collection of corks. Someone was keeping them to create cute small cork planters, but if you want them, I’m sure it won’t be hard to accumulate some more..
Can be picked up later in the day / evenings from Great Neck, LI or generally anytime during the weekend. I can also bring this to Rego Park, Queens so let me know which is preferred.
