16” Empress Mountfield Petrol mower (PE1)

Gifting a working petrol lawn mower. Its about 33years old. It does have wear and tear and includes a new spark plug.

It’s got the roller at the back and from memory it used to give the striped effect. The best thing about it if you’ve got a border, you can roll it backwards and that way, the mower cuts to the edge without dipping into your soil and ruining the grass edge. It’s adjustable for grass cutting heights. Just simply turn the knob and it lifts and lowers.

Haven’t used it for a long time as we no longer have any grass. It did take a few pulls to get it started when I checked it about a month ago. It seems a shame to see it sitting in the corner of the shed when it can still be used by someone.
It’s had a repair on the grass box about 20 years ago as the handle cracked. A piece of metal and insulation tape fixed that.
The casing at the bottom has a few pieces missing and a crack. Again this has been like that for many many years with no issues and the grass still gets collected.
