I used to subscribe to a dog food delivery company which packs WoolCool insulation in the boxes to keep the food frozen. They are recyclable, environmentally friendly, compostable, 100% natural and sustainable.
I have a box full of them and have read that they can be useful for the following:
- Wrapping some WoolCool around outdoor plants, during the cold months, creates a barrier against frost.
- Use the wool as an insole to your boots or wellies, stopping your toes from dropping off and keeping the blisters at bay.
- Use it to pad out empty bird feeders, then spend your days watching the birds pick away at the wool. David Attenborough, eat your heart out!
- You can even use your WoolCool in a wormery. Niche, but nice.
- Stitch yourself a new scarf or pad out your winter coats with some WoolCool as a liner.
- Lay some out in your hamster's cage, add an extra blanket to your cat's bed or pimp your pooch's basket.
The possibilities are endless so let me know why you want this item.
