We are buying our new home. We are finally able to replace the one that Harvey took, along with everything else we owned. But we, my husband and I, are both 60 years old and we're raising our 6 year old grandson. We have an adequate, though fixed, income and could really use some help..
As most of you know repair and restoration is expensive. Prior tenants damaged anything and everything they could because of eviction. They ripped out the breaker box, removed the breakers then stripped the wiring from the house, took down the bedroom walls, stripped and destroyed the plumbing and pulled up ALL OF THE FLOORING?!?!
We're looking for pretty much
anything that can save us a little money, we are doing the work ourselves, and with a little help from you we will be able to get it back to the home it once was. We need wire-Romex, 14/2, ceiling fans, ceiling or wall mount light fixtures, electrical outlets and switches, a vanity sink faucet, a kitchen sink and tall faucet. Countertops and upper cabinets or shelving. A decent sofa or a couple of comfy, decent chairs. Armoires (3), a couple of dressers, any kind of storage furniture for the kitchen and elsewhere. Cookware, dishes and utensils. A garbage disposal. Lumber, 2x4s, 4x4s, 2x6s and plywood, trim and siding, possibly some galvanized sheets for roof repair. Paint and supplies for repair to the interior walls and exterior. Two interior doors and one exterior. Anything that you can spare would be greatly appreciated. Anything that we do not use will be gifted to someone else in need. Thank you for your time and consideration.
