self contained gelato maker (North Berkeley hills)

Simac Il Gelataio ice cream/gelato maker. This is big and heavy and somewhat fussy to clean, but it makes fabulous gelato or other frozen desserts. We bought it a long time ago, but I just looked it up and e-bay still has multiple postings for this model. And I still have the owner's manual with clear instructions and recipes.
