Pure wool Aran yarn (Near Cockburnspath TD13)

We are the owners of a comfy but tatty chair
I would like to make a throw to pretty it up. I have cream Aran yarn to use as a base but would like to add some colourful stripes
Even small amounts would be useful thanks
