I've got two of these to give away. Both of them work now, but I'm not sure if the replacment lamp bulbs are still being manufactured.
They were intended to be used for bright light therapy to treat seasonal affective disorder (a.k.a. S.A.D. or "the winter blues"). But they can also serve as desk lamps. The light bulbs in these old lamps resemble flourescent tubes, whereas in the current model for sale on amazon it says they now use LEDs. But I don't think the LEDs would fit in these old lamps. The lamp head cover on of one of the lamps is a little bit warped, but that doesn't affect the functionality of the lamp.
I thought I would post them here before taking them to be e-cycled. Here's a link to the current model now being sold on amazon for comparison: https://www.amazon.com/Carex-Day-Light-Bright-Light-Therapy/dp/B002WTCHLC?th=1
