This is a large leafed variety of Bergenia. They are not in flower now. The flowers usually appear in early spring, long before a lot of the usual spring bulbs. The leaf edges become more red during the colder months. They're hardy evergreen, so you have the leaves all year round. They spread by tubers and I'm ready to give some away.
