Faulty mouse coding game (Kingston Bagpuize OX13)

This is a really fun coding game for young kids, however, I've just tested it and the mouse seems to have got a mind of its own now! It used to do as you told it to do and appears to now make up it's own mousey moves! Everything else is in good condition though and all the bits are there and I would hate for it to go into land fill. Perhaps the mouse needs new batteries, perhaps someone can fix him, or perhaps someone already has this game and would like an expension pack?? Really hope someone can make use of it.
