I can remember when I was a kid, we used these to screw into something and the "hook" ends held a gauze or cheese cloth bag...and there was a wooden thing that went around inside the bag that you would stir. Was it tomatoes or maybe apples? Sorry to be so weird about this. The holders are 12 inches high and threaded on the one end. I hope someone knows what these are and can use them!!
