This little table used to be a sewing cabinet. The top is hinged at the left -- if you flap it back, you'll see a large opening where a sewing machine could be dropped into it when not being used. For many years now, it's been used only as a side table.
On the right (looking at it) the veneer is peeling some (see photo). If you can't put it in a location where that's not visible, you could carefully glue down some of it and use a wood-color marking pen to color the small missing piece.
Dimensions: 24" wide, 17" deep, 31" high. The full-view photo is the actual color, I'd taken the photo in the shade and had to brighten it up.
