The bed frame is solidly made from pine stained with a dark wood finish and is in very good condition

For ease of transport the three centre support legs unscrew from the slats, and the slats unscrew from the sides and fold up into a roll while the sides slide out of housings in the foot and headboards. To reassemble you will simply need to slot the sides back into the head and footboards, unroll the slats and screw the slats back into the sides and reattach the three central support legs.

The King Size Classic Memory 1000 mattress is very comfortable with no damaged springs, splits or tears. Because of the sprung / foam structure it cannot be turned but it can be rotated end to end, which we tend to do every 12 months to keep it in as good condition as possible

The mattress has been used on a spare bed so is quite lightly used. However it is not pristine and has some light markings from use, but it is essentially 'clean' and presents no hygiene issues.

The King Size duvet is 85% Goose Feather and 15% Duck Down, so 100% natural and luxurious. The 10.5 Tog weight is very cosy and ideal for the cold winter months. The duvet has been used as spare bedding and lightly used, is in excellent condition and has also been recently laundered and tumble dried in commercial machines.

The bed linen is all from Marks & Spencer. The fitted sheet and top sheet are 100% cotton, the duvet cover and pillow cases are cotton / polyester mix. They have all been spare bed linen and hardly used, are in excellent condition and have all been freshly laundered and tumble dried.

The bed does come apart easily for transportation but the sides are still quite long, and the mattress is obviously very large and heavy. As such a van and two-person lift will be required
