No screws or anything needed - I found theTwist2Go mechanism very easy to use and install. Pictured is it in our window against PVC window frame. Giving away as we got a new one to fit the room decor better, and because we wanted a roman blind to cover the full window rather than leave the gaps between the blind and window frame as this one does.
