Amtrol WH-7L Hot Water Maker (Lansing)

Used Amtrol WH-7L hot water maker, with a coil inside a tank. Water heated externally circulates through the coil, heating the water in the tank. We bought a house with this in it recently. It wasn't working well, heating water to only about 95 degrees when the thermostat was set to 115 degrees. The problem may just be accumulated sediment (we have well water) that could be flushed out, or a defective thermostat. We aren't sure. We replaced it with an electric water heater since we want to move away from propane anyway. You would need to transport it after getting it out of our basement, which involves moving it up some concrete stairs and out some Bilco doors. Weighs a lot, perhaps 300 pounds.
