Curtain rods for closing and opening curtauins (Cleobury Mortimer DY14)

My relative has dementia and has some balance issues and has some tall windows with high curtains to open and close which she insists she must do .. A curtain rod pole would help with this .. to avoid falling backwards as she raises her head upwards .
