Mini exercise bike (Walberton BN18)

"Micro Power Cycle" This portable pedal exerciser has been sitting around, never used, for years. The idea is that you pedal away while sitting down in front of the TV, reading etc. There is a small display screen (Scan; Time; Count; Total Count; Cal) but nothing comes up when I press the red button.
