This bed takes a standard mattress- 3 foot wide and 6 foot, 2 inches long. The bed including castle is 7 foot and 3 inches long. The castle head board is 3 foot and 7 inches wide. There is a support beam I put in 6 years ago to repair bed which has worked perfectly . Brown beam - shot included. It would be better to transport it in one piece in a van. Mattress not included
