Man's Hiking Boots with loose sole - for repair? (Leytonstone E11)

Comfortable Karrimoor hiking boots. Unfortunately, one of the soles has detached and the local repair shop said it's not economical to fix. May be possible for someone with DIY skills? Size 43 (10) in blue colour.
