Digital linear scales (Pendeen TR19)

I bought 2 of these a while back: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/294054251086 . The displays failed but the scales themselves should still work - there's information online about how to interface with them so they may be of interest to someone with electronics skills. Lengths are 460mm and 300mm
