Simple wooden futon (Grange-over-Sands LA11)

Simple wooden slatted futon converts into double bed.
It consists of two wooden base parts, which stack on top of each other and a back board to make the sofa.
In sofa form, the mattress can cover the bases and drape over the back board .
The bases can be laid end to end to make a double bed.
The mattress is quite heavy and would benefit from a cover (double bed sheet would do).
The futon has been in my spare room for some time and has been little used.
By virtue of it's three piece construction, the futon can fit into an estate or hatchback
