It feels a little odd asking for this, but given your generosity with my last, I'm hopeful I may have some luck.
Unfortunately my iPhone and iPad were stolen whilst I was conducting field research last year and my insurance were unable to provide me with a replacement. In need of a phone, I purchased a cheap unbranded smartphone which I have used since.
Sadly, it seems to be on the brink of death: no longer staying connected to the internet and routinely turning off and losing connectivity which leaves me uncontactable for most of the day. At present, buying a replacement (even on contract) is not something I am able to do.
So I am reaching out to see if anyone has a spare working smartphone they'd be willing to give away? I'm not particular about the make or model, provided it's relatively up to date and is, most importantly, working.
As always, I'm happy to make the trip to you providing lectures and library breaks allow.
