Bb Cornet or Trumpet (Saltford BS31)

Hi. My daughter is learning to play the cornet. BANES music service were supposed to provide a hire cornet but they let us down at the last minute. We ended up buying a second hand cornet but it has now developed a few problems. Wondering if anyone has a cornet or trumpet lying around that they no longer require. We would also appreciate any music books (approx grade 1 or 2) as well. Very many thanks advance.
