I am studying IT and I’m looking for PC parts as part of my education to better help me learn how to build and disassemble a pc. Ideally looking for any pc or working parts that I can use to try and put together and modify the PC. If anyone has a shell for instance that would be a huge help! I have regular tools which I believe will work so I believe all I need is a functioning or non functional PC.
I am not looking to resell parts, the course I am on is called CompTia +. It’s an entry for beginners to IT and involves software and hardware knowledge. At the time of writing I am at the start of week 3.
Examples of parts I am looking for:
- Central processing unit (cpu)
- motherboard
- casing/outer shell (the body)
- fans/cooling system
- random access memory (ram)
- hard drive
- esd bracelet (used for discharging static charge)
- cards, ie- graphics, video, network or any other.
- any other parts relating to a PC
I am able to collect in and around Swindon. Any help would be hugely appreciated.
