old paraffin candles, gulf wax (Charlottesville near chs)

I use paraffin to lube my bicycle chains and I'm running low on the stuff. I can use any old remnants of candles that you have, or/also called "gulf wax." Don't throw out your old candles! I'll be glad to take them. I got a tip about churches... does your church still use real candles? I don't know of any... Thanks.
