I have loved this fire but decided to update
It was still working well (and my new one is not as good as new models are noisy)
It has 3 x 1kw fire bars which are all used, but just 1kw replacement bar will give out good heat.
I have rarely used all 3 bars. .
I have checked and the fire bars are still available from any spare parts dealer.
It needs a plug which can be connected to the short cable. An extension lead can then be used to connect to the nearest socket.
Although the fire is designed to be inset into a fireplace, it can also be used safely as a freestanding fire (as advised to me by a good builder)
