Hand made very large garden planters. (Little Sutton CH66)

I made these some years ago when I was fit and able, and younger. They are made out of 45 gallon heavy duty water barrels which were cut in half and wrapped in treated packing case timbers, and then wrapped with binding straps of alloy to make them look like whiskey 🥃 barrel's.
They have lasted really well for years, with climbers and shrubs and bulbs in them . I am now in the OAP years of life and not fit enough to keep them in tip top condition.
They are in need of a bit of TLC to bring them up to scratch, treating the wood, and some paint on the black straps.
We are down sizing the patio areas to make our retirement years that bit easier. They measure about 21"H x 23"W.
