I've got 2 big chunks of the base of a miscanthus grass I have just dug up. Pictures are of the grass as it is now, and how it looked last Summer (it's usually a lot thicker growing than this but I'd cut it back to give the plant behind more light. If planted out soon each will grow back to this height this Summer, stay in leaf until they will need to cut back down next Spring. Each half is quite heavy, and has loose soil so a bit messy to move
Collection from St John's.
Happy to (attempt to) answer any more questions about growing these. They are a lovely grass, it's just that I bought rather too many !
Thanks
