This vacuum cleaner is very powerful and robust. However the bit with the switch in got a bit wet and the motor was pulsing.
I stripped it down and believe that the PCB (printed circuit board) has been damaged and needs replacing. I cannot guarantee that nothing else does, but it didn't blow the fuse.
So, it has been taken apart and all the pieces are here if anyone fancies their chances of getting the part from eBay and fixing it. Part number is EDW 8303 and dated 2017.
