Synology DS108j network attached storage (Horndean PO8)

This NAS is from Synology, very well known for their network devices over the years. It contains a 500gb hard drive, and attaches via Ethernet to your network, providing a network attached drive and numerous other functions. Running software version 4.0. Works with both Mac and Windows computers. It's quite old now as a product so I doubt any upgraded software is available from Synology, but as it stands it could be useful for some remote file storage or logging, or just to play with! Nothing wrong with it, it's just been surplus to requirements for years now so I'm clearing it out!
