This is officially a shrub although grows more like a tree with tall slim trunks, the leaves are fern like and turn a beautiful red in autumn. They are fast growing and can grow over 6 foot within a couple of years, perfect for new gardens or a privacy barrier.
I have 3 very young trees, 2 are between 10-12 inches and the third is half the size. I also have one which is about a year old and is about 7 ft.
The last photo is of the mature trees so you can see what they grow into.
I will leave them in the ground to keep them healthy until collection.
If no interest within 2 weeks they will
Be going into the compost bin as they are encroaching onto the lawn.
