A Hybrid Bike and a Mountain Bike (Webster)

The better bike is a K2 Newport model hybrid bike, circa 2002. This was my late wife’s bike and hasn’t seen much use in years, but it’s always been stored inside and is in decent shape. I’ve cleaned it up, and although it could use a tuneup, everything seems to work on this 24-speed version. I’m not sure what size frame it has, but it was sized for a 5’10” person.

The lesser bike is a women’s Giant Rincon model mountain bike. It’s probably as old or older than the K2. It has 21 speeds, but the rear derailleur shifter doesn’t currently work, so it’s effectively a 3-speed bike until the rear shifter is replaced or fixed.

The K2 and the Giant come as a pair. 🙂
