Roofing felt underlay offcuts (Eastbourne BN21)

Bit of a weird one, but are there are roofers out there (or anyone doing a small roofing thing themselves) who might have some left over / off cuts of roofing felt underlay? Apparently it is good for making pottery templates which is why I want it; so any size of 10cm² would be great! I want to try it out and see if it works as well as the internet suggests before I invest in a large (and expensive) roll of it and it would be nice to make use of something that might otherwise go in the bin! I can collect most evenings from the Eastbourne area. Thanks in advance !
