This is very useful for hanging (short) coats and storing shoes. You could also store shopping bags and umbrellas on it so they are ready to grab as you go out after putting on your shoes.

It is well-made and sturdy. The blue plastic coating has come loose but if you have the time, remove all of it and give it a coat of paint. If not, it is functional and we've used it like this for years.
Two of the feet have wheels so that the whole rack can be moved around easily.
