Old cutlery - suitable for crafts? (Stoke Hill CV2)
Hi all, just wondering whether anyone could make use of this old cutlery, from clearing out my mum's shed. I've seen on the Internet that people make (and sell) beautiful coat hooks and jewellery etc out of old forks and spoons etc, so it might suit someone creative who likes crafts. Most of it is EPNS (electro-plated nickel silver) in a nice traditional design. I wouldn't recommend eating with it - from what I can gather, when plated cutlery has worn patches it can leach out the base metal, which can be toxic.
